Biography

Sister Kathy has had the privilege of serving this school community since September 1987. Before assuming the leadership of OLH, she served as elementary teacher at St. Raphael's in East Meadow (grade 2)and St. Patrick's in Smithtown (grades 1, 4 and Music), as well as a high school Music and English teacher at Sacred Heart Academy. She held the positions of Dean of Students, Student Council moderator, Glee Club Director and director the school musicals.

Sister's education was from Marywood College, Brentwood College and Queens College, with a Masters' degree in Educational Administration conferred by Hofstra University. New York State certification has been awarded as teacher of grades K-6, English 7-12, Music K-12, School Administrator and Supervisor and School District Administrator.

Sister Kathy has served as a member of the Bishop's Commission for Elementary Education and on the Board of Trustees of the Learning Connection in Brentwood and Academia Maria Reina in Puerto Rico.
