Need Extra Credit? Want to cancel out a low grade? Here you go! Extra Credit Trimester 1: Mass - You must print on your own & hand in by November 27!

1. Sciencesaurous reference Text will stay home, we have a set at school to use! Notebook will be kept & used at school!

2. Homework will include "Discovery Tasks" that relate subject matter to real life
** For example: We will be learning about Forces - students will be asked to hunt & record common forces that they have overlooked in everyday tasks. This will reinforce ideas, concepts & help to link simple technology to new ideas.
 They will recieve more advanced tasks, or spirals to start grooming for the NYS Test in May!

3. WE WILL be fine tuning their ability to understand new vocabulary used on the NYS Science Test in May __, 2025. We will design a Glossary of terms.

3. End of topic assessments will be taken in class. Assessments are used as a marker to re-address any  information that may be confused before we move on.

4. The STEAM Lab functions  on the resolving of problems through discovery & group participation brainstorming - students will be graded on participation!
