The OLH Computer Lab is an exciting place full of learning, exploration, and hands-on collaboration.  As a Google Workspace for Education school, OLH students are provided access to a school Google account in grades Pre-K- Grade 8.  Students in grades 2-8 have access to Chromebooks to complete classwork and projects.   Students in grades K-1 are able to access iPads in their classrooms as well. Throughout the year, students are provided grade-appropriate instruction on a variety of computer science topics including, but not limited to, the Google Apps Suite, coding via Code.org and Scratch, robotics, digital citizenship, and video creation.  We will also be incorporating Makerspace activities and STEM Bins, as well as basic coding robots within our curriculum this year.  I look forward to another year of watching your children's skills grow!
